E85 does have a higher oxygen content, the higher octane only combats early detonation which isn't really needed at 11:1 with aluminum heads. I figured the timing would change it though so that is kind of interesting. 29 seems pretty conservative, is it for an LS? what RPM is it all in at?

Well apparently I missed some conversation while I was typing LOL

OK. Spent the last 2 days in the shop dealing with the steering R&R and all the little demons and gremlins there-in.

Having cut up the drag link for the 64 and also the 65. Did some creative modifications and dusted off my old welder. Had to relocate the idler and deal with the bump steering issues this caused. Got all of that squared away.
We will be policing up this mess and making ready to set up the hoist. Engine/trans will be in the frame next week.

Yep it was a Blueprint Engines LS3.

I wish, but alas, it does not. It was the new episode of Engine Masters and I was just curious was everyone would guess.
It must have a pretty conservative cam in it. Would probably be a really good street engine for sure. I am surprised it did that good with 87. What RPM did it peak at, do you remember
