New microwave.
Hit a number on the key pad when empty and the screen will flash "food" and won't start.

Punch and number and it turns on for that many minutes. It has an add 30 second button.

The beverage button indicates 4 ounces with the first push and adds 4 with each push. My 16 oz. cut comes out piping hot.
