I feel like anyone would do this though. If you know you hold a certain set of convictions and someone with opposite convictions will replace you, it's likely you'd hold onto your position for longer. I know I would in that case. :dunno:
That's exactly what she did and exactly why she was unfit to be a justice.
Judges are not supposed to legislate from the bench.
    Elected officials make laws.
Judges interpret the law as written and apply it. Not by interjecting their personal views or beliefs on the law.
What she did was a clear case of violating the separation of powers. But also violating her judicial oath to apply the law as written in the constitution.

Also by refusing to retire when she knew she was dying and not giving the office she held 100% of her attention she was out of line.
She missed a TON of scotus business over the last year especially.

True, this is a good point! Sadly, I think that most of them don't do this.

    3. Rent a mechanical bull - enough said
    4. Build a fort out of KJ's Coors Light cans

We may have to break out the lollipops to save the real ammo for more serious considerations.
No sir! Lollipop shooting is very expensive for me. It was over a dollar shot for me, when ammo was cheap. I don’t have any of those precision rimfires like the cool guys. MK12 or nothing!

Is this the new tropical storm? No, we haven't talked about it yet, too early.
Hey, it’s been a rough week. I caught crabs, and weathered a hurricane. I’ve seen the eye. Cross that off the bucket list.

If we can fit these into an FGE I'm all in

Coors Light cans are getting very hard to come by. :(
