I put in for one of the hi powers as soon as I got the email. Little expectation I’ll get one.

Got to the range today. HP testing in the Rami and first shots (ever?) in the Massada 75 SC. The Rami likes Federal 124 gr HST, better than GD 124 gr +p or Winchester Silver tip 147 gr. POA with the Fed was dead on with my range ammo but I would feel comfortable carrying the GD or Fed and have a few hundred GD +p on hand.

The Massada, I love it. Here are the first 17 rounds at 7 yds. It is a hunk of steel, weighs about 8 oz more than my PCR and is easy to shoot. Will definitely bring to the next group event!

Along those lines, this girl was at my feeder recently. The hedge where I find many birds is 60' from my porch perch, but the feeder is only 25' .... so it's possible to get some very-detailed close-ups !

The detail in this picture is just damn impressive. You are truly a master of the lens.

This morning was test and tune at the range. Ejection pattern testing with the DW, ammo testing with the rimfire handguns. I'll get some target pics up later.



Okay, I'll show one target for now. I wasn't really trying for groups with this gun, but the DW A2 did a good job at almost blowing the bullseye out at 8 yards. Has got to be the sweetest shooting 1911 I've ever owned.

Yes, rather large bore. My understanding from history is the bell shaped muzzle was to make loading easier, sometimes with whatever was handy for projectiles.
