How long are these CHINESE solar panels going to last?? I look at how everything out in the sun deteriorates from the UV. Solar panels have a finite life cycle, and for what I'm hearing those systems cost for installation......thinking dinosaur farts are the way to go!!! We have an enormous supply of natural gas. Faze the other krap in over time and within financial reason.

OK, off the soap box.....those are some cool pistols that Patience is selling!!!!
I have a buddy doing the solar field north northwest of here. They're only halfway done with the field and they're already replacing panels. I agree, dinosaur farts is the way to go.

I've talked to at least 10 people that HAD geo systems. Circulation pumps went bad, control boards fried, service call after service call.....:spend::spend::spend:internal water jacket started leaking, source got overran with iron deposits on equipment. Manufacturers went out of business, or bigger companies dropped their equipment all together because of lack of sales and expense.

My brother had geo system in his multi-million-$ beach house on the east coast. I believe the leaking made it useless, as well as the other problems you listed. So he put in a big*** solar system! It feeds into the grid, and his power bill is next to zero. So maybe there is a way for solar to pay for itself. I think his break-even is at 6 years on the solar system.

We are suppose to have a really windy day tomorrow and I still have lots of leaves on the trees so I am going to wait a few more days for round 3.
My guy called and asked if should clean up tomorrow....I suggested he wait until Monday. They might be all down except for two huge pin oaks that usually hold well into December.

On my 2nd geothermal water furnace. Love the low electric bill, the almost free hot water, and almost no need for maintenance. Been good to me.
