    Pretty much Michigan.
After doing a ton of reading yesterday and watching videos. As well as running every possible situation through my head. And running calculations on monthly fuel expenses. I’ve determined that I can most definitely move back into a full size truck as a daily driver and be just fine. I’m really leaning towards a first gen avalanche. It seems like it could work perfectly for what I get into/want to get into.

May even replace our Yukon as our adventure rig. Although I still don’t want to get rid of that suv. So I guess the first step is to try and sell my beater s10. Drive the Yukon till Uncle Sam comes off my money and I find a suitable avalanche or until the flavor of the week has me looking at something different.
There is a 3/4 ton 8.1 avalanche on marketplace cheap that doesnt look half bad. If you need to channel your inner Tim Taylor.

Those Charles Daly Hi-Powers are fairly well regarded. Feg kits assembled state side by, first Dan Wesson and then ?????? but with a big ugly roll mark.

I'd be looking at that if it was local.
Maybe I’ll go take a 2nd look. I’ll be surprised if they still have it though. And $450 can go a long ways towards other things… like a Witness 10mm… or a CZ 75B. And if I had too choose, I think I’d choose CZ. If only I could have them all…

I keep telling my wife that Dr. Spicy bought 5 guns his birthday week. She just rolls her eyes and says “Yeah, cuz he’s a doctor”.

    Morning all... :coffee:

"Dad bod" sounds much better than what I was called at the doctor today. 30% BMI is considered obese...apparently I'm 33%.

    Oh well...now, pass the cupcakes!

(Edit because my numbers were wrong.)

This irritates me. Our medical professionals are full of :poop:. I was told on my last medical screening that I'm considered very close to obese. Some of you have met me, do you think that holds water? Nope. I definitely have the middle age spread going on and will absolutely admit to being overweight, but I'm nowhere near obese. If you don't break out the calipers to use to tell me I'm obese (or close to) you can GTFO.

Up at 3am for a bathroom break, no re-sleep in sight, lovely.

Sorry to hear that. I was up at 3:30 for a pee break, but thankfully after about 30 minutes of tossing and turning the re-sleep fairy visited and I got another 3 hours sleep.

If you are obese, I am corpulent.

    Shut it Matt and Travis.

It just irritates the heck out of me. They are pushing misinformation (or bull :poop: as we used to call it). You cannot say someone who has a size 36 waist is obese. I think they're just trying to feed the numbers to show that we have an "epidemic" the same way they did with COVID and the tests that were horribly inaccurate.
