Afternoon all I made the mistake(well sorta)of going into my LGS. Once inside I looked at the inventory which wasn't bad all things considered. I ended up purchasing a CZ 527 in 7.62x39. So now the search for ammo begins and of course proper glass. I'll have a picture soon. I put the rifle in layaway so maybe about 2 weeks before I actually have it in my hands.

What quality ammo are you looking for?

I've recently been buying steel cased, bimetal bullet Russian ammo from $0.40-$0.45/rnd and Belom brass cased w/copper jacketed bullets for $0.70/rnd and those are the "good" prices in today's market. USA made "target" quality will be sky high if you find it.

I'm looking for the steel cased stuff as that is what the rifle was designed to shoot.

I’ve got about 152 rounds of 7.62x39 with your name on it if you need it.
