    Morning

Cleaned up the new guns last night. Was happy to see the DW had a clean and well maintained interior. That gun has the slickest cycling action I've ever seen, even better than my other DW.

Put the factory thumb safety and trigger back in it. Trigger pull adjusted to 3lbs 5oz and has a clean and crisp feel. Eventually this one will get some Spicy surgery on the slide (design cuts) and a short trigger. There isn't much else, the fitment is pretty dang good, if not excellent, on the factory parts.

    Holosun AEMS arrived today.

    View attachment 342018

The Height difference is due to the tall mount I used on the AEMS. The covers on the AEMS are removable and I probably will.

I think I'm going to like this on the Q HB. Typical nice Holosun circle dot with nice glass.

IF, I was looking for another circle dot for an AR, I would save a buck and go with another 510c. However, I think the AEMS will be a better match for the lighter Q HB.

Short version: You're going to like your's.
Got my AEMS in the mail a few minutes ago. @gmcttr did yours have an additional (to what is already installed in the sight) battery tray in the box along with the adjustment tool and the manual?

    Anyone seen @BehindBlueI's around lately?
I haven't seen him post in awhile is all well?

I'm fine, thanks for asking. Just busy and my internet time is reduced and forum time more so, which is likely to continue until at least May or so.

I was out in New Mexico/Texas to participate in the Bataan Memorial and then do some other hiking/exploring. Thread here: https://www.indianagunowners.com/threads/35th-annual-bataan-memorial-death-march.548469/ Hit two new national parks (White Sands and Guadalupe Mtn), several nat'l monuments and state areas as well on the trip. I like NM to visit, wouldn't want to live there. Ditto Texas, but for different reasons.

Heading out on another trip soon. I would have preferred to space them out a bit, but the dates were what they were. Combine with stuff around the house to do, catching up on work from the last trip and getting ahead on work for the next trip and it's a time crunch.
