I had a light dinner and I’m trying to do better about not eating late in the evening to shed a few lbs. I had a low fat Greek yogurt and decided to surf INGO to get my mind off of food.

Thanks a lot WS! Y’all’s enabling has no bounds!
I forgot to post a pic of the pie...

That said, Gray Brothers cafeteria banana pie is better. Not as big, but better (bananas seem to be an afterthought on Muldoon's pie and not throughout and not given a chance to meld into the flavors). The banana pudding my wife makes is better than both.

But since you really seemed to want to get the full experience...

    In the country, hopefully.
Happy Easter! Or Happy Resurrection Sunday as we say.

    He is risen!
So one of my first thoughts as I came to this morning was of our church’s founding pastor; he had a tradition of greeting people with “he is risen” on Easter; I had never been around it.

In early for sound duty as usual he greets me with a big “he is risen” and it’s so hearty I’m kind of taken aback, it probably showed on my face and body language. I respond with a typical-for-me “iuuhhhhh, yep” instead of the expected “he is risen indeed!”.

His reaction was perfect for him, perfect for Easter. He was the epitome of grace, a great picture of Gods grace.

    Thinking of you Pastor John.

    Not far from the tree
15.5 hour drive from Gulf Shores to North Judson today. 4 traffic standstill’s to suffer thru. That added about 3 hours to the drive. There is too many stupid drivers out there…
I'll just assume the grammatical error was purposeful. Much as it pains me to not fix it, I'm working on a 12 srep pogrom for grammer nazis.;)

    Typing is harder than thinking.

Proofreading takes like seconds of time….

Be easy on us mere lay practitioners of language.

    .
Little bit of yard work and then hit Muldoon's in Carmel for a late lunch.

Depending on rain this evening/tomorrow going to try and get some fishing in tomorrow morning if my back will hold out.

Got some gun parts that won't be here until Monday. Hopefully get the scorpion together and do some shooting late next week.
