    I believe the older ones are Heiser. They then when to Johnson (?) and, last I knew, Sullivan in Orlando made them.

    ....but that is probably very incomplete information. Mine is from the late 80's so would be a Sullivan....I think.

    I've seen them for sale, but know little about Randall knives, seller wanted $3200 for this one.

    Well I’m sure everyone or at least the handful that I’ve talked back and forth with in my on to try a 1911/2011 agsin will be glad to know that I snagged the ria ultra tac fs hc or whatever it is called. Feels good in hand. Will go to range tomorrow. It’s a double stack 1911 more than a 2011 I believe but should let me know if it’s something I want to dive further in or if I just want to stick to CZs
