    it looked like a Redhawk to me, but I'm not a big Ruge D/A fan. I figure if you are going to suppress a revolver round a 320gr .44 bullet at 1Kfps would do more damage than a 180gr .357 at 1K fps.

    I still think a lever gun would have been just as fast and with a 14 or so inch barrel would still hacve 6 rounds of capacity. I bet I can shoot a levergun as fast and as accurate as that comglomeration of a double action revolver with a stock! I know of a guy who uses heavy, subsonic .44 magnums in a suppressed Ruger bolt action for Elk Population control out West. He can sneak in and drop several of them before the herd get's spooked and runs off.

    I seem to remember reading of the S&W Mod. 10 with suppressor being used in RVN. Needed close tolerance with the cylinder gap.
