    Got mine on there..

The "opposed" percent is moving up. get on board folks..

    My input there..

Dear Sen. Daniel Coats, Rep. Joe Donnelly, and Rep. Larry Bucshon:

I oppose Sen. Feinstein's New Version of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban because... the “BAN THE ASSAULT RIFLES” campaign is premised on a lie.

What Obama, some in congress, the media and the people falling in lock step with them are trying to ban is NOT “assault rifles”. True “assault rifles” are military only and are select fire. In other words there is a selection switch that will allow that rifle to be either a semi-automatic (one trigger pull, one bullet fired) or full automatic (one trigger pull, multiple bullets fired.).

The civilian rifles erroneously being called “assault rifles” can NOT be put on full automatic. They are NOT “assault rifles”, but the current administration would like you to believe that they are.

Labeling these as “assault rifles” should tell any reasonable person that Obama, some in congress, the media and other gun banners are not playing honestly.

Please do not vote for ANY restrictions on our gun rights,

At first I thought you said opinion of "Feinstein's face."

You can't say that!!! That would be appearance-ism.

    Done.

I oppose Sen. Feinstein's New Version of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban because law-abiding gun owners have done nothing wrong. I enjoy shooting as a sport and as a hobby, and the US government has as much right to information on whether or not I own a semi-automatic weapon to pursue my interests as I do to know the name, addresses, and firearms of choice for the security details of particular elected officials. Prohibition did not work for alcohol, it certainly hasn't stopped the flow of marijuana into this country, and it won't work for firearms either. A better use of time would be to improve mental health care and address the lack of opportunities in the inner city. Or perhaps since we had cash for clunkers, tax incentives for purchasing environmentally responsible HVAC products, etc. why not do the same for gun safes?

Dear Sen. Daniel Coats, Rep. Joe Donnelly, and Rep. Todd Rokita:

I oppose Sen. Feinstein's New Version of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban because I am a veteran, lawyer, educator, husband, father and law-abiding citizen who enjoys various types of firearms. This ban would do nothing to prevent crime and will only make semi-automatic rifles and larger capacity MAGAZINES (not clips!) more desirable to criminals. I would also add that criminals will obtain these items, without documentation and there is no law that will stop them.

Also, this ban will increase the number of guns in our society. Gun manufactures will continue making them and hard-working Americans who enjoy guns will buy them, thus, making this ban useless in every aspect.

I would hope our elected officials would have more to worry about than trying to disarm the very people who put them in office... and those who will also remove them.

    Signed.

"Dear Sen. Daniel Coats, Rep. Joe Donnelly, and Rep. Todd Young:

I oppose Sen. Feinstein's New Version of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban because I work security for events in states such as Illinois that do not allow me to carry any weapon, let alone a so called assault weapon.

At one show, The Gathering of the Juggalos (supposedly a music festival), we pulled 100s of knives, many guns, explosives; even a meat cleaver.

Illinois law would not even permit me to purchase mace.

We had 5 attempted murders, including a stabbing that required Life Flighting the victim out. I had to escort the officers, whose vehicles were under assault, to the scene of the stabbing; being pelted with rocks, sticks, etc with nothing but a bright yellow T-Shirt to protect us.

They attacked performers (Tila Tequila) detonated Porta-johns, lit the woods on fire, sold hard drugs openly without fear of repercussion, fought, stole, robbed, etc

Why? They were better armed. 7,000 drug-addicted McDonald's fry chefs.

There were over 7,000 attendees at the event; and only 5 police in the entire COUNTY. I refuse to work that show again, regardless of pay.

Now think about that on a national scale, and tell me you wouldn't want a few more rounds in a magazine."
