I have two. One in 9 and 45. Love both. Carry the 45 most of the time. Recoil is not a problem in either.

Yep. Easy to carry and shoot. Is the "upgrade" already taken care of for the one you want?

What upgrade? I know the front sight is red and very easy sight in just the few times I have handled it at the gun shop. Terre Haute Guns has a great price on one and I know If I want a good carry gun that I like, the price shouldn't be an obstacle.

I had an XDS in 9mm. It was a very, very soft shooter. My crazy long fingers don't seem to work quite as well with single stacks, so I let it go after it was upgraded by SA. It was a nice carry, and I liked the front fiber optic sight a LOT. Never had a lick of trouble with it.
