Depending on what you mean by "older" Auto-5, many from at least the late '80s- '90s came with interchangeable chokes.

Almost a year to the day I finally pulled the trigger and got a Caesar Guerini Summit Sport. It just felt right. I’ve started taking some lessons and I’m curious about opportunities to get out with others to shoot more.

I have a couple friends in the area who shoot I think but looking to get more involved in the sport.

How do you find “events” to participate in?

I have my Dads A5 Belgium.

Quail hunted with my cousins this winter and shot a new A5 sweet 16, man is that a nice shotgun. Very light and pointable

Where are you located ? We shoot trap at the Griffith Isaac Walton, and also at Glen Park in Merrillville. There is also a facility in Wheatfield, that shoots trap, skeet, and sporting clays.

Was at IGC last Friday. They have signs up for a Wednesday evening skeet league that starts fairly soon.

Lots of great advice here, and can’t go wrong with a Browning or Beretta as stated. Indy Gun Club has the best selection of shotguns around. Talk to the owner and staff and they will help you out. Best of luck and welcome to the world of shotguns and sporting clays. You will get hooked!

Sweet. I’d like to ge there nearly as often. My thought is to get there closer to 10 - but not sure when the crowd shows up.
