Listing another IBM Corp. M1 Carbine..
This one is a Mid IBM wartime production 3.8 mil AO serial #.
This one has Auto Ordnance (Wartime manufacture of the Tommy Gun) IBM contract receiver making it a little more scarce.
Trigger group components, bolt and slide have IBM correct wartime contractor stamps.
Early high wood I cut stock but sling well was filled at some point and sanded. I removed the piece of filler wood.
No arsenal rebuild marks on stock that I can find. It's hard to see but the ghost of the IBM ordnance acceptance stamp is still there.
Receiver dovetail has flip sight only staking and no signs of an adjustable sight ever being installed.
The flip sight is an original WWII manufactured sight for IBM; not a fleaBay repop.
No signs on barrel or stock that a T-2 or T-3/Bayonet band was ever installed.
Has correct Type-1 2 weld scar barrel band and kv-B marked sling swivel.
I have never fired it so recommend taking to gunsmith for inspection before doing so.
FWIW; the bolt does not come close to closing on a Forster 1.299 Field gauge.
Chambered and dry cycled Korea surplus ammo without issue.
Chamber & bore are in good condition.
MW reads ~.315
Don't hesitate to ask questions.
See photos for best description of configuration and condition.
Can only attach 10 photos so including link to a google photo album containing more.
$1500 ($1400 without the sling and oiler)
Will Include 1 serviceable 15 round WWII USGI magazine and the real WWII C tip sling & IS oiler shown in photos.
Not interested in trades at this time. Thanks
