Small knee mill for sale, asking $1700 , located in Northeast Indiana.
Head is a pre serial number Bridgeport, number 2 morse taper spindle, variable speed DC motor with controller. 110vt single phase.
Base is a number 0 Brown and Sharpe horizontal with the Bridgeport head hung on the over arm support.
Machine has minimal backlash in the lead screws. Machine cuts flat. Table is approximately 30 inches in X. No broken handles or missing parts.
At $1700 I will include Kurt vise, number 2 morse taper to ER collet holder with collets ⅛ to ⅝ collets, wrench & box. A 3 axis DRO. And a clamp kit.
Machine does need a little TLC , the head stock/spindle bearings make a little noise. Machine does work, but occasionally makes some noise and cut a slot a little over size. I stopped by H&W Machine rebuiler, there here in New Haven with me, and I was quoted approximately $500 for new bearings.
This machine is HEAVY bring a crane, like an engine hoist and a couple of buddies.
