I don't know what machine was used in Snowball Express. Another Snow Trac was used by Jack Nicholson in the movie THE SHINING. My particular Snow Trac was featured on British Television's Channel 4 show called The Salvage Squad as it climbed to the top of a mountain in Scotland. We were working with National Geographic a couple years ago to take a couple of them (mine included) to Iceland to cross the nation searching for mythical trolls, fairies and gnomes but that project died.

I imported mine about a decade ago as a farm tractor so I can (and I do) drive mine on the road using the same laws that are used by farm tractors (lights on & reflective SMV sign).
