I would like to put a reflex sight on my Mossberg 12 gauge, already have a weaver style mount. Are there any out there for around $100 bucks that will hold up to the recoil? Help me out ...please.
I highly doubt it, but if you are going to try one Go with primary arms.
If you decide to bump your budget to 169 I know the Vortex strikefire I carry will hold the recoil.
You will most likely get what you pay for. I have a TRS-25 that fits in your price range and would have no problem recommending it on something with a bit less recoil. I can't comment on how it will hold up to the 12ga. You may want to research the TRS-25 and see what others are saying about it. I think its a great optic. I used it on a 9mm carbine.
I've tried running cheap optics on shotguns in the past, and zero luck. As Vette stated, you might get the PA micro to do it, or spend some more cash, and get a Vortex Sparc or Burris Speed Bead.
Thx to everyone for the input, gonna try a cheapie that is supposedly shockproof. If I like having a reflex on my shotgun then probably go for a better one.
