    Just saw on channel 13 that the bill to expand background checks did not pass the senate. :D
    One thing that came out of this is some of the politicians that CLAIMED to be pro-gun really showed their true colors. I for one will remember those come election time.

    That last one was close. Hope it all continues well. I truely believe that it won't pass at this point.

    What you're watching is really just theatre for C-SPAN2. The actual vote, the one that mattered, has already been taken. Whips for both sides get commitments from each Senator in advance of the vote so that they will know the outcome before it happens. When Ayotte announced at 2PM ET today that she will vote No, the last path to passage was gone for the libs. The bill has already been defeated. Again, what you're watching now is just a formality.
