I have a Stoeger Condor that I like except for one small issue: when you open it, the safety auto engages. Really annoying and can lead to many missed shots.

I found this fix. Looks reasonable enough to me. Any experts care to weigh in?

I had a Baikal/Remington Spartan that had an auto safety.
On those it's a simple strut to cut, but was a 3 handed operation to get the pin in under the safety's cup.
I also chamfered my trigger spring pockets, as they creaked when coils slid over the ridge. Didn't remove hammers so was kind of a PITA .
