    first i seen them down here was 2 weeks ago.......they seemed confused they flew in a circle for about 20 min's over my place:dunno:.......maybe they don't know if it spring or winter yet??????

    They are here in Cass County, having trouble flying because of the wind. I always think it's our dogs barking and making noises at first. I think they are cool.

    If you've ever seen one up close they're really beautiful birds. I often hear them flying over while deer hunting, so whenever I hear them they remind of being in the woods.

    Had literally hundreds of sandhill cranes fly over throughout the day. It's amazing how far you can hear them as they approach before you see them.
