I made a purchase at Rural king and got a new .22 M&P there for $50 under what I found them going for used at a couple of places. And they knew what they were doing and the process was easy.

The ad's been posted for more than a week.

Rural King ran this same deal during Black Friday last year and it was highly discussed and shared. I'd like to think most folks here know a good or bad deal when the see it, but it only takes one to bite I guess.

A couple of thoughts come to mind:

My guess is he bought it at or near the top of the market, maybe at a LGS that doesn't discount much.

There are guys here that have said they won't buy from a box store and therefore wouldn't avail themselves of RK's low price, so he may be able to move it sooner or later.

I must just be a cynic then GFGT. My guess is the opposite. He bought it at the good price, waited for people to forget (or tried to anyway) and thought, "it's a Sig. Some newbie will come along not knowing any better."

All that said, it's still a heck of a package, even at a higher price.
