I got a FB note from my 14 year old Grandson last week.

    This is my grandson:

He posted a URL for me to check out and asked if we should look into this:

I gave it some thought and based on some grandparent advice I read awhile back, always accept anything your grandchild offers you, and despite the fact that I'm 61 years old and the rules prohibit our use of guns on the zombies, I decided to take him up on his request.

It's a 5K run/obstacle course filled with zombies that want to eat your flesh (pull the red flags from your waistband).

I am now in training. The Indiana event takes place in June.

All I can say at this point is, a mile is ALOT farther than I remember when running.

Good on you. This reminds me of some great adventures with both my grand dads, neither of which knew how to say no, but each always ended up turning it back to their advantage to teach me something anyway.

    Reps to you.

Was there another thread on this on INGO that I missed?

If not... REALLY surprised there isn't more discussion here about the event TOMORROW.

Anybody else going to be there? Anybody else going to be there.....carrying? :rockwoot:

What time are "Spectators" going to arrive?

I was planning to do it but pulled a glute really badly. It's only recently completely healed so I didn't have time to train. Really bummed about that, but I'm now looking to the Warrior Dash in Crawfordsville in August.
