A progressive challenge to Obama would have been a welcome choice in NH. There were bitter arguments amongst committed peace activists. Those who chose to support Ron Paul were challenged by those who loathe his racism, misogyny, and homophobia.

As a NH voter, I confess - I voted for Vermin Supreme, who at least promises every American a pony.

The issue was raised awhile back about whether Paul's newsletters and the charges of racism et. al. would be a deterrent to those thinking of defecting from the Democrat Party to vote for Paul. Rightly or wrongly, the issue is creating perceptions that are affecting choices.

Doesn't matter. He's unelectable. Fox news told me so it must be true.

Seriously though, if Paul can get into the high teens or even 20% of the vote in SC, that would be huge! He was at 4% in 2008 IIRC.
