Lost my Dad when I was 13 and it's because of him that I have an interest in firearms to this day also. Doesn't matter if you're 13 or 28 or 58 when that time comes it's tough. Hopefully it helps to believe that everyday that passes makes it more bearable and understandable. Wishing you a peaceful mourning period.

My condolences. Lost my Pa in 2021. Still talk to him everyday. My wife and I just spent the weekend at the cabin my dad and us kids built together. He's still there.
