    For a small snub nose I went without the spur. Besides, I've been gravitating toward double action shooting in my revolvers more often lately.

    After a lifetime of trying different types of J Frames, settled on a 442 about 20 years ago.
    Best choice for me, no hammer to catch on pocket, Airweight to carry, serves me well as a BUG to a strong side G19, or my Sig226.
    Mine isn't +P rated, so ammo is standard rated HP. I've carried +P a few times, even shot a few, but prefer back to standard.
    Always dependable, carried often. Shot less than my K Frame M10(4 in bbl/ Tapered).

    My wife loves her hammerless revolver with a crimson trace laser, she feels the hammer is one less thing to worry about. She says in the moment she wants to keep things simple , aim and shoot.
