Replacing a tailgate, 2000 Chevy Silverado

Recently bought a 2000 Chevy Silverado from Ray Skillman, love the truck but it's missing the tailgate. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? Perhaps a specific junkyard and or salvage place that you have experience with?
Did some googling but I still don't really know where to start.

There's a salvage yard that sells stuff cheap off 14 in columbia city I believe. Also one on 24 near wabash. Have bought parts from both places. One of them gives a discount if you go pull the part yourself.

there is a place south of Bargersville and North of Trafalger on 135 that has a lot of tailgates and truck beds. Sorry for lack of exact specifics but hopefully someone will chime in with more detail. You can't miss it if you drive south on 135 from Bargersville

bone yard. gate fits 2000-2007 (classic).

a sweet find would be the fiberglass one, it has raised letters. was a pricey option when new.

Make sure you get one of the heated ones... so you can keep your hands warm while you push it!

You may try Pic-a-Part on west 16th street in Indy, and then there's always LMC Truck online (although new is more expensive.)
