Remington Black Friday Rebate

I got my rebate check yesterday. I had sent it in within days of getting the ammo, so I'm guessing it was sent in early December. That officially brings the cost of the ammo down to about $5 per box of 25 185g 45 +P. I'm happy with that.

I finally received my check. I never did get a "processing" notice. Every time I checked it was the familiar "check back in two weeks" message. I can't complain though, 10 boxes of 9mm +p for $6 a box.

Just got my rebate today. Submitted in early December. >15 weeks, but I got it. Make the final price $0.16/round for .357Mag JHP! GREAT DEAL.

BTW, I consistently checked the rebate site for an update. My submission was never acknowledged on the site and I never got a number to check on it.

All six of mine were delivered last week the same day to six different addresses.

I have the coolest family ever.

It took me about 10 weeks to my $600 back but I ended up with the following for around $80 total:

500 Golden Saber 9mm 124 Gr
500 Golden Saber .357 Mag 125 Gr
500 Golden Saber 45 Acp 185 Gr

I bought a computer one time. Back in the day that with all the rebates, the computer went from 1000 bucks to 500 or so. I sent it in. Never got anything back. Called them. I hadn't dotted an I literally or something and they set it to the side. I called and she's like 'Oh, yah, we'll get that sorted.' I asked about the other rebate. She said 'let me look it up'. She looked it up and said 'it doesn't have X on it'. I said 'can't you pull that from the other rebate'. 'Oh, yah, done. Thanks'.

I determined it was a scam as many probably just forgot about it. I did get the checks a week or so later though. I have been skeptical of 'rebates' ever since.
