I have been looking for a 223 bolt gun for a while but, have been unable to get the right price/quality combo together. I was in Rural King today, had a little time and thought I would see what they had available. Asked the clerk and she pointed out a savage and another gun when I noticed a flyer taped to the counter. Inquired if they had it in 223 and she said they had one that had not been put out yet. She got it and I could not really walk away from it.
They had a Remington 783 w/scope for $309 then a $40 rebate from Remington making the gun/scope combo to be $269 !!! I am certain it will be available in other cal. as well. Just a heads up if anyone might be lookin' .
