I have a Primary Arms Red Dot I'd sell ya for your price shipped. It isn't a Micro Dot, more like a Vortex Strikefire.

It's down there in the Accessories if you are interested.

A question regarding red dots: With a fixed front sight, an A2, how does that change mounting options? I'm new to the AR world.

The AR with or without the front sight needs the riser. The AR is designed to have a tall sight. I hope I understood your question correctly.

Yup! You understood me correctly. Now for my next stupid question. Are the risers just one height or are they different? And if they are different which size would you recommend?

Not a stupid question, I only have experience with the TRS-25 with the factory riser. It is the perfect height. You can just buy one and run it without worry.

Just ordered a TRS-25 after reading this thread for around $55. I tried the cheap route and I really got what I paid for. So the manufacturer will be getting that back very soon.
