We had nearly perfect weather for this INGO Meet and Shoot!

This was my first time visiting the Paragon Conservation Club. It’s set back off the road in a rather secluded portion of Morgan County.

My first view upon leaving my car was this:

What a lovely sight! A huge grill on wheels. INGO member Shadow was the cook and I tried some of his bacon wrapped pork loin. Very nice! I also sampled some Cowboy Beans. Wow, they are a meal all by themselves! (Can you tell I like to eat! :))

There were several canopies and tables set out with lots of pistols and rifles for us to admire and discuss and shoot.

When I first arrived, the pistol/rifle range was active. Normally, you could talk to other members if you were standing away from the pistol range. However, when HandK got going on his .308, you just had to wait. Man that thing was loud!

Then the pistol area was closed for a bit to allow the shotgunners to take a turn at the clay birds tossed by DaKruiser’s throwing machine. The birds didn’t stand a chance!

My thanks to DaKruiser, HotPocket, and Shadow for their efforts to organize this event. My apologies if I’ve missed others who were principle in making this event work. Also, thanks to HotPocket for her outstanding peanut butter brownies. :yesway:

My parting pic is of an outstanding piece of machinery. I’ve always liked fine tools!

Every time I'm lucky enough to participate in any get together with a group of our people it's always a great time. You could have a whole warehouse full of guns, toys and food (and I'm pretty sure we did :rockwoot:), but its the people that make it fun! My only regret about the day is that I wasn't able to contribute very much to the clean up efforts because I had to leave early. I hate not doing my part.

It was a pretty fun day, thanks again to HandK for letting me try out his HK USP, Sig 226, and his M&P9c, and thanks again to Chuck for letting me shoot his Noveske 9mm SBR, LMT (even though I probably held it wrong and voided the warranty ;) ), and his suppressed GSG.

And thanks again to Dave for the hospitality and letting give his suppressed Ruger 22/45 hell :D

And Shadow, those were the most tender and delicious bratwurts I've ever had :yesway: :D and Hotpockets for the amazing brownies.

Now.......where's the damn knife pron :D
