    Answer:

    by combining the front sight post and gas block into one unit, which will move the overall weight balance towards the back of the rifle, and reduce it by a couple of ounces.

    while I do agree that it will move it back a bit, I don't think you will realize that much difference.

    but, I do think it will look cool ;)
