I know you were probably expecting to see a gun project. Occasionally I do have to fix cars as well and here is one I am doing today.
2011 Malibu
Hit in the right rear corner.

Right rear rail, a sacrificial frame rail extension.

Anchored to the frame rack

Pull work done and rear body panel and damaged rt rear rail end removed

New rail end positioned ready to weld

Laser measuring system used to align new part

Rail end resistance welded in

awesome resistance welder

Me welding in new rear body panel

Double check fit up and ready to clean and send for paint. barring some exterior panel repairs first

Very cool as always Allen. I have no such skills, so I definitely appreciate/admire the work of those like yourself that do.

My dad didn't leave me much when he passed but he taught me how to work with my hands and for that I will always be greatful
