Following video is a great example of how fast someone can close in on another individual. A guy with a knife running at an officer.

Nonsense, I read on INGO that people 20' shouldn't be considered a threat.

I am glad the officers were able to stop this guy before he hurt anyone else.
    Good work officers

Good thing he was wearing his mask while attacking the police. He showed he didn't want to give them covid19 very thoughtful.

If they had been within a few feet of the officers one of then may have gotten hurt seriously or dead. It just takes a few seconds to cover a few yards.

    This is horrible.
Why didn't they just shoot him in the leg?

Not LEO here, but I think they should have cuffed him while they waited. He was still a bit active. Would suck if a 'second wind' kicked in and he was right in the mix.

Good for them for talking and giving aid. Tough call on that.

The officer that had the Taser hit the ground. Looking at the angle of the officer shooting that was absolutely the right move. Could've been real bad right there.

    Time will tell.

All I can say is the black life of the man that stabbed the woman and rushed officers did not seem to matter to the guy that stabbed the woman and rushed the officers.
there be some idiots who'll say they should have shot him in the leg. as if the spine wasn't good enough.
