Not sure if this is a precision rifle or not... just finished it. Guess I'll see once I get it to the range.

So this is a GA Precision Crusader I had made with a 20" 6.5 creedmoor barrel. The only changes I made from their standard crusader is the caliber and barrel length. It's the more accurate rifle I've ever owned or shot and that's using factory Hornady 140gr ELD ammo. Round count is still low, but it's been broken in the accuracy is there.

Yep, it's a mcmillan A5. It's my first mcmillan stock and so far I like it. My only gripe is that it's a hassle to constantly raise and lower the cheek rest when pulling the bolt to clean. It's a big heavy stock for sure, and it does have a little play/flex in it at the foreend, but I'm not worried about it with the level of accuracy that I've been getting so far.

20" 6.5 Creedmoor is SO MUCH more capable than many folks on the internet give it credit for...factory 140s should run somewhere in the 2600-2650 ballpark, while moderate handloads with H4350 will be around 2700fps.

PLENTY of smash for 1000 yards and then some.

My biggest reason for 20" barrel was being able to get around with it. Either in the woods, or on a bench I want to be able to get around with the rifle especially when the can shows up. I plan to run a few round through it on the magneto speed to chrono my exact speeds, but honestly I'm not worried about the FPS number on the screen or on a sheet of paper. This rifle performs beyond my wildest expectations and I have zero regrets on having the barrel cut to 20". I didn't want a 24" or 26" barrel and then a 6" can on the end of it.

I currently have a Remington 700 SPS tactical in .308 I'm torn between an archangel stock or magpul. What are some pros and cons? Or should I just leave it with the Hogue? Thanks

The archangel has a built in bipod, but it's real wobbly and unusable. It also doesn't have sling mounts to add one.

I like the look and feel of the archangel stocks I've held, but the quality only seems to be on the appearance/cosmetic side of things. The magpul stock isn't perfect either, but honestly I think it's far better than the archangel. As far a built in bipod goes, I've broken enough harris bipods that I don't consider that to be a good feature. I'd steer towards the magpul, or even see if you can't find a chasis type if you prefer that.
