One of my 7mm Mausers, (Brazilian) formerly a Scout rifle, is now a precision rifle. Hogue stock, Tinmey trigger, new bolt with different handle, Warcomp on the barrel that was shortened to 20". Scope is an old Nikon M-308 in Leupold rings, and mounts, that has been on at least 4 guns, but it's a pretty good piece for the money.

So this is a GA Precision Crusader I had made with a 20" 6.5 creedmoor barrel. The only changes I made from their standard crusader is the caliber and barrel length. It's the more accurate rifle I've ever owned or shot and that's using factory Hornady 140gr ELD ammo. Round count is still low, but it's been broken in the accuracy is there.

I love these pvc dope cards. I think I saw them on snipers hide before. Where did you get yours? I need to update my index card taped onto my stocks...

I ended up taking mine off. I liked the idea, and maybe I just used the wrong pen/ink type but after using it a bit I just ended up pealing mine off. The layout was a bit too small for me to be able to write clearly enough to read it in a hurry.

I get more miles and use out of the spare 2-round ammo holder velcro'd to the side of the stock.

You can get the PVC data cards here: https://triadtactical.com/pvc-data-patch/

This will be a little more serious attempt to get myself into the precision world. A move that may well end up costing me more money I could (and probably should) be putting into my Jeep build... New Magpul Hunter stock on the .243 Remington 700. I got this rifle used in a Boyd's stock. Pretty, but no pillars or bedding block, and just a tiny bit of glass bedding around the recoil lug. Although an "el-cheapo" by precision stock standards, I'm kinda on a budget. The Magpul Hunter seems pretty comfy, and it does check most of the same boxes as the $900+ custom stocks do, including having an aluminium bedding block built in it. The scope is a Nikon M-Tactical .308 4-16x42SF BDC 800. I have a Chrono on the way, so once I can get out shooting again, I'll be able to make some ballistic tables in MOA to match the turrets. Also, I can choose my caliber, and ammo load in Nikon's "Spot on" app to go with the BDC reticle as well.

Updated my Savage 12FV project. The .223 barreled action is in now with a new Criterion. Vortex Golden Eagle on top as this is pretty much a dedicated target/varmint setup. Still using the GRS Bifrost and a Magpul bipod.

I've only just started load development, it seems to have some real potential but I've only shot one midrange match with it using a "guesstimate" load from a rough OAL workup.

I have a thread protector on it now.

Edit: yes, the scope is right on the ragged edge of clearing.

Compass Lake Engineering built upper with Bartlein 22" 6.5 Creedmoor barrel.
I'm really looking forward to stretching this things legs if I can find a place to shoot further than 50 yards.

Might as well post in here. Looking to start shooting some PRC/PRS. Tikka T3x CTR 20" in 6.5 Creedmoor. Vortex PST Gen. II 5-25x50. Sitting in a KRG Bravo.

Fairly new budget build, a Savage 12 FV in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Vortex diamondback tactical 4-16 with a pipe insulator, a sock and some electrical tape for a cheek rest :):. It did VERY well for a bone stock gun shooting bulk Hornady ammo. Targets were at approximately 550 yards.

Got it a new stock to help with ergonomics, the end of the range day had my collar bone bruised even with the soft recoil pad since I couldn't get it in to the shoulder pocket without either losing my cheek weld or having the rifle not point correctly.
