Reports say Idaho State Police welcome Oregon Senators and told Oregon State Police to stand down. "You don’t have jurisdiction in our state. Not to mention Idaho does not like Kate Brown." Go Idaho!

Wow. I had to look that up. It's real.
I guess it's okay when her party does it.

It doesn't matter which party does it, I'm not a fan of that particular move. You were elected to vote, so get your ass in there and do your job. . .and yes Oregon's Governor is a world class pinko.

Yes, then dock their pay. Or fine them. Or whatever. But it would have to be a punishment spelled out.
Don't just make up a penalty.
Or send in the State Troopers.
Are they going to arrest them? On what charge?

If they're not being charged, or "detained", isn't that kidnapping?

From what i understand this bill is gonna cost the Taxpayers money(Dont they all) and the Repubs that aren't willing to vote are doing so because they believe it should be voted on by the taxpayers and not them.
I wish more elected officials would take this approach. Instead of 10, 20, 40, or a few 100 elected officials making the decision, that hold us as taxpayers accountable for footing the bill, let the people make that decision.

It's possible, but someone is going to have to work hard to sell me on the idea we have such noble elected officials anywhere in our country.

From the articles I've read they are trying to kill the bill and get it to a vote by the people.

    Noble? I dunno.
