I heard that the so-called "terrorists" were just 2 coworkers and one guy had a rifle in his trunk and was showing to the other guy when there was an accidental discharge.

Which followers? Which sect? Which system? Should my Baptist preacher have condemned protestant attacks on Catholics in Ireland? Or apologize about "christians" that bomb abortion clinics? Do Indonesians of a particular faith need to send a missive stateside apologizing for this act?

At our (Baptist) church it has been made clear in no uncertain terms that these types of things are not in keeping with Christs teaching nor His character. I have never been in a church where their position on these types of things is anything but clear. Major Christian leaders, when asked, never defend or do anything but condemn such things. The opportunity to leaders of Islam to do the same thing exists, but none step up and unequivocally do so.

Yelling "fire" in Russian in a crowded American theater would probably get some odd stares, but no stampede.

I'm not sure if Allahu Akhbar is understood enough to cause a problem.

All I know is that if you walk around in the lobby, they'll throw you out.

If GP had asked, "Yelling 'Allahu Akhbar' while wandering around the lobby insulting theater staff." then that would have been different.

Rules are rules and zero tolerance policies have to be enforced. Not interpreted.

I can't comment on a movie theater, but as an experiment you could go to the airport, put a diaper on your head, and run through the airport yelling allahu ackbar. If you ever have internet connection again, report back on whether the floor tasted clean.
