Deam Lake is not in the Deam Wilderness where the Peninsula Trail is (by Lake Monroe). It's down near Louisville.

Had a very nice easy hike down the Peninsula Trail to Lake Monroe in June.

We couldn’t decide that morning if it’d be a quick in and out but after taking a break in our hammocks for a few hours we decided we would just stay, glad we did.

Yeah that was on the north side of a little island in some skinny water that we set up on in the heat of the day for the shade. somebody spent a lot of time building their fort.
