I don't have time right now to do a write up of the whole class for Carbine I, but it was AWESOME! Had a great time with my Dad, and brother. Great way to spend the afternoon with family.

Here are some videos that I took of the class "after hours" and going full bananas with one of the instructors AR's. :rockwoot: Thank you Officer Small Hands!

That little camera has some good video quality. Thanks for these vids.

It's a dynamite little camera. It shoots all the way up to 1080 video. What I like about it, is the water resistant case it comes with. I've seen them used on Army of One and Whale Wars (they've mounted 3-4 of them on their helicopter).

Dad bought it to mount on his cycle but we are playing with it now to mount it our AR's. First person shooter anyone!?!? :D

That is nice after Matt's classes you get to play with some toys you don't normally get to. Last year there was a Serbu Super Shorty after Carbine II.

Matt, can you please PM me about your course. I might have sent you a message, but I don't think I have enough posts on here yet to send...hopefully it got through. Thanks

Matt - If you would, please put my brother Kevin down for attending Carbine II. I believe Mike (my dad) talked to you about attending as well. He was going to E-mail you direct concerning that.

I'm still up in the air on going, due to my wife getting closer to having our newest addition.

I see that the required ammo for rifle is 600 rounds but there is no mention of handgun ammo. Will we be shooting handguns as well and if so how much ammo?

By saying "the class will use the same equipment as in Carbine 1" Maybe you mean 100 rounds of pistol ammo again?

Yes, students will need to bring 100 rounds of pistol ammo.

Really wish I could make it out on Saturday. My brother Kevin will be there. He's been rubbing it in my face all week that he's going and I'm not (wifey has to work and I'm in charge of the kid-o). Can't wait for the next Carbine II to come around so I can get on that!

It's going to be a hot one on Saturday. Be sure everyone hydrates! You don't want to be like my dad after this past Carbine I and on the way home have to stop at a firehouse for medical attention because the knucklehead was dehydrated and almost passed out. Glad my brother was in the truck with him.

Gotta load up some ammo so I don't have to break into my stash, and otherwise ready to roll.

Got a new MOUT chest rig I'm gonna try. They were on clearance a few weeks ago from SPEC-OPS. We'll see how it does.

    See you guys Saturday!
