Last night went to hell in a handbasket. Shortly after I went to bed, Susan's mom called her. Her dad was hallucinating and threatening her, thinking he saw her with 5 men. Susan and her friend that stayed with us last night went down to the assisted living place and tried to calm him down, but they (the people at the facility) insisted that her mom and dad couldn't be in the same apartment, so she came home and got some blankets and pillows to stay with him while her mom went to another apartment.

I guess things escalated from there and cops were called and eventually he was taken to a hospital for psych eval and her mom went back to their apartment. Susan and her friend stayed long enough for her mom to fall asleep and then came back home around 1 or 2 a.m..

I'm taking the day off because I don't know what today will bring.
