Haven’t made that in a long time. Brings back memories.
There were several sales before Thanksgiving on the cereals, so I would pick it up.
We have enough ingredients, to make it maybe another dozen times.
The smell always reminds me of this time of year. Half of this batch is going to the MIL, because she
likes the Mrs. better than her own.

I fold them as I'm taking them out of the dryer and put them away immediately. I do all the laundry around here.

Well, I throw mine on the floor, and pick through them as I need them.

    I didn't used to.
But I'm still adjusting to NOT working 60 hours a week. And I still need to clean my house up and straighten out things.
But stuff keeps popping up to take my attention, and then when I have time, I get lazy.

Ohhh, I catch all kinds of :poop:, if I throw any clothes on the floor. Clean or dirty.
There is a place for those.
I remember the single days though.

I thought you said somewhere that you were OCD... You're doing it wrong! :):

I'm definitely OCD. I rearrange the dishwasher if Susan puts things in the "wrong" place. I load it with unloading it in mind, so everything is organized as to how I will be putting things away.

    mild OCD.

Working on instruments, one of my main jobs was checking calibrations to make sure an instrument was accurate. So, most every 'down turn' for 30 years (once a month) I had to cal check instruments that were due. For 16 hours. 0-25-50-75-100 percent checks.

Kind of a hazard of the job.

As a former programmer, I had to be very detail-oriented too. A misplaced comma or period could make a big difference in how a program ran. It would compile clean, it would run without blowing up, but it wouldn't do what you intended.

When I worked for BMG Music, I once shut down our warehouse because in modifying some code, I accidentally deleted one single line that I shouldn't have. I was on the hot seat for that one until I figured out what had happened.

Did you have those 3 on 3 off schedules switching to days and nights ?

Nope. But when I could work a 40 hour week, it went like this.
    Tues-Sat 3-11s
    Off Sun-Mon.
Go in Monday night for Tues-Sat midnights
Off Saturday morning till Tues days.
    Off Sunday only.
    Then start mon-fri 3-11s.

Basically, 5 days-2 days.. sort of.
but every 3rd week, I shifted back a day.
Also, every 4 weeks I had a 16 hour shift, even if it was my day off.
Then, anyone on vacation, I had 2 to 3 extra shifts.

Then, if there was a furnace being redone, or a rebuild or anything, I worked extra.
I've done 7 pm to 7am for 7 days a week for 3 months while going to college during the day.
    I've done 3 or 4 months of 7 am to 7 pm for 6 days a week.
I've been scheduled over 70 hours for a week, then they ask me to stay over to help the new guy on a midnight.
    And on and on

That is so screwed up that I can't put it into words (without using a lot of asterisks). Sounds like really incompetent plant management.

Although as I typed that, I remembered that I logged in to work today because the other two people that can approve code migration are out this week, so I went ahead and approved it so nobody got held up.

And now I'm back to being Finance Officer at my Legion post.
So, that's taking up a bit more of my time than I'd like.
I'm there now, because someone rented the hall to the Red Cross.
But we didn't have a bartender scheduled for today, we're closed Tuesdays.
So I get to sit here from 11 a to 7p.
Tomorrow I have to make the bank deposits, and sit here for the beer delivery, because they get here before we're open.
