    Wow Act. You deserve your retirement man.
    I'd like to think so.
    Everytime I had to work forced overtime, I just thought about putting money in the bank, paying off the house, and retiring.
    I was going to work a couple years after paying off the house.

    But then another guy retired, and I decided I was done with forced overtime.

    That is so screwed up that I can't put it into words (without using a lot of asterisks). Sounds like really incompetent plant management.

    Not asleep yet.

    So, another example..
    I worked Sun, Mon, Tue days
    off Wed.
    then Thu-Fri-Sat 3-11s.

    Except on Wednesday, we had a 'downturn' to fix things.
    So I worked a double shift on my day off.

    So, 6 shifts plus 2 shifts put me at 8 shifts.
    Except, we had a guy on vacation. So I had two midnights to work.
    So, 6 plus 2 plus 2 is 10 shifts.
