Bought an old 1894 today, 32 WS, made in 1905. A little cleaning and out to the range. Shooting the rifle for the first time which sports a Sheard front sight and a factory rear, I was pleased to get 5 for 5 on the 100 yard 8 inch gong shooting off hand. Ammo was my own loads using an RCBS cast lead bullet. Just picking up a 112 year old 26" barrel 1894 Winchester that you've never fired before and getting good accuracy is a great feeling.
