Wow, too cool. Stock is missing the belt clip.

You might want to contact someplace like Simpson Ltd. that specializes in Lugars. 309-342-5800 They might be able to give you a value.

It is a model 1900 American Eagle Luger. The stock is worth as much as the pistol.

I'm not OP, but what price range are we talking? $200, $500, $1000 .... even in the ballpark. Inquiring minds want to know

US test issue Luger in .30 Luger.

    It's worth a LOT.

Again, how about a ball park figure?? A lot could be $250, or could be $1500 -- all depends on perspective.

Depending on condition and with the stock a super WAG is around 5K or more depending on condition but it should really be evaluated by someone expert in this.

It is a commercial 1900 American Eagle Luger. Values are close to what others have said. The original test Eagles were chambered in 30 Luger. Very few Lugers were ever made in 45 ACP and I believe there is only one known left in existance.

The U.S. military test Lugers WERE .45 cal as REQUIRED by the U.S. Military to compete with the Colt .45, and more than one exists. They ARE worth a LOT of money.

Few indeed...exactly 2 of them. DWM's refusal to make another 100 examples was a pivotal element in the decision to drop the Luger from consideration. I suspect that the Germans were sharp enough to pick up on the fact that it was unlikely that the chosen design would be of foreign origin and therefore did not consider it a viable investment of time and resources.

The Army purchased 1000 Lugers in 30 Luger caliber to test in 1900, they are identifiable by serial number and lack of GERMANY stamping. In 1907 two 45 ACP Lugers were provided to the military for testing against the 1911 and several other pistols. The two provided in 1907 were serial number 1 and 2. The serial number 1 45 Luger no one knows what happened to. The serial number 2 Luger 45 is well documented and is commonly referred to as "the million dollar Luger". It is considered one of the rarest pistols ever made.
