Obama declares Martial Law, stays in the White House

There are some, and I may not be one of them, who think Obama will declare martial law to stay president until he feels it is time to go. He seems to have put a lot of this in place already too. Allowing hordes of Muslim Insurgents, (Refugees?), into the country without any real vetting is the main one I see. This makes the likelihood of US Mainland Terrorism more likely. I know full well how this is likely to go with many of you already but I can't help myself.

Scaling back our military
Pretending the religion of Islam is peaceful...yes I have read the Koran and the Hadiths... doesn't seem peaceful to me.
Closing Guantanamo and releasing many known terrorists as well as many wrongfully arrested who are now more likely to hate us
Ending Iran and Afghanistan, though frankly we should never have been there at all IMO
Military "Maneuvers" and training exercises have increased on American Soil.
Closer ties to the UN, in case our Military doesn't do what he wants...

I do see him wanting to do this but not sure if he has the balls to try...

C'mon Warthog, martial law? As of right now, there's hasn't been any attacks, that I'm aware of committed by any of the 10,000 refugees that have entered the nation. Further, if you believe Obama wishes to stay in office and is hoping that some of those 10,000 "insurgents" create such a situation, you are lacking a severe understanding of the thought processes of a would-be tyrant. If "I" were to come up with a hairbrained scheme like that, I'm not going to leave to possibility of success in the hands of unknowns. I'm going to black ops my attack, and frame the refugees.... As far as your readings of the Koran and Hadiths, and it not being peaceful to you.... I'm wondering how much of the Bible you have read? I would then ask you, if the Bible (New and Old Testaments) has been used to promote conflict and oppression? The answer is obvious, right?

And then of course, you say that Obama is scaling back the military, and that's a further clue of his intentions. So just so I'm getting this straight, you say Obama wants to declare martial law, and then he scales back the most obvious tool to enact that sinister plan? Surely you don't expect local LE to do his bidding? But you accounted for that. If his scaled down military doesn't do his bidding, then the UN will step up.... all 85,000 uniformed troops, 13,000 police.... with their closest vanguard force of 5,000 being deployed from Haiti to begin the subjugation of the American public... soon to be followed by the rest of the force, as soon as they find the aircraft, boats, motor vehicles, and money to undertake such a mobilization... all while the American military, which had not gone along with the president's plan, stands by and lets the UN waltz right in.

....and this seems plausible to you?

Actually that is why the chatter of homeland security taking over the elections is going on.
We can't trust the process because Russia has hacked the voting system.
A Trump win would only be a result of tampering because everybody hates him.

I remember my liberal friends saying this same thing in 2008. I told one of them that I was 100% certain either Sen. McCain or Sen. Obama would be sworn in as President on Jan. 20th, 2009. I was right. I'm going out on a limb again and say that either Mr. Trump or Sec. Clinton will be sworn in as President on Jan. 20th, 2017. However, I will add one caveat this time. It is possible that Sec. Clinton, even if she wins the election, might not be able to take the oath of office. Her health seems to be more and more of a problem.
