Porter County fair is in full swing. Goats are done. Granddaughter walked away with Supreme Showman. Now we are on to horses.

Thanks. My work is tonight and in the morning. Horses move into the barn in the morning. She is taking three this year. That means I have to setup three stalls, plus any others I end up helping with.

Lost power for about 30 seconds this morning, but rained long enough that I had to make breakfast for the 7 of us in the kitchen rather than out on the flattop. #firstworldproblems

Went to Asada mexican restuarant in highland and upon leaving the place the house next door had not 1, NOT 2, not even 3 but FOUR!!! F.... raccoons on the roof trying to get into the house attic!

It looks like at least one of them did get in.

Damb monsters!

How did you like Asada? It’s been hit or miss when we’ve been there.

It's loud
Its always busy
Too much garlic in the rice and it's a tad dry. Beans too salt.

The steak is big and tasty.
The burritos the same.
The chicken plates lots of meat as well.
It's is more pricey (about $4 to $5 more) than the same level of food in hammond and east chicago.

Pepsi product. yuck!
Mom likes it thus why jedi has gone.
Been to it 3 times. It's just "ok".

It's not in jedi top 5.

I generally don't spray the berm though. I prefer to have the green stuff keep the dirt in place
