Burn the deck thug. That will get him. ;)
Actually to be safe we should just tactical nuke the entire block.

Im thinking of the wrong animals! See im so tramitized by those stupid raccoons! Dont kill the opposum!!!
They are the garbage disposal of the animal world. They eat all the other dead animals so you dont have to see it.

Plus did not know they love ticks! Shoot that alone means they are ok in my book.

There's a opossum under my deck. Free to the first taker.

While they are somewhat nasty critters, they eat ticks. In fact they love to eat ticks. If you can encourage it to move along to the woods or some other place that is not an issue for you then its wise to keep them alive, but away from your animals.

They are far more afraid of you than you are of them. Their hissing is a defense mechanism. Just make his life miserable enough that he moves along.

Last year or so, my cousin and I were walking out of the basement from under the deck. I raccoon the size of the dog nonchalantly walked out from under, stepping on my cousin's foot on the way out of the yard.

    Sometimes.
Mostly, I spend the first part of my shift fixing stuff the guy before me didn't fix, because his turn never calls him. That's 4 outta 5 days.
