I joined a few months ago, but this is my first post. I live around Broad Ripple and have had my carry permit a few years but am now starting to look for my first handgun. I look forward to any input or ideas.

Buying your first handgun is a personal thing. First figure what caliber you want, then go to a good store or show and fondle the ones that appeal to you. Some people might direct you to a specific pistol because they like it, but if it doesn't fit your hand and feels uncomfortable it is wrong for you.
