    This is the first AR I ever bought, back in 2009. I didn’t know squat about ARs then and bought a CA approved version of the M&P 15OR. As delivered, it had no flash hider, a fixed stock an 1 10 round mag. Over the years, it’s been modified a bit and now has a proper flash hider, A2 stock, LaRue MBT-2S, PA 1-6x LPVO and as of yesterday, an Aero Atlas hand guard. This is really comfortable to me and the Atlas shaved almost 9oz from the rifle.

    Except for the sight, this is as bought

    Save the old retro look stock an such. You might decide to build old school nam style later on.
